I have been a devout daredevil fan since the early 1980's. This blog is devoted to him, the street heroes of Hell's Kitchen, and the friends and foes we have met along the way.
During the Jessica Jones/Daredevil panel, while answering a fan’s question about the challenges of playing a blind character, Charlie Cox mentioned that there will be a scene in Season 2 in which Matt plays pool in a bar.
We are very, very excited about this.
It’s always incredibly fun to see classic concepts and scenes from the comics make their way into live action, and pool is pretty standard for Daredevil. Stick, notably, spends his free time using his pool ninja skills to hustle people in the seedy bars of Hell’s Kitchen.

Whether or not the scene in the show will reflect a specific instance from the comics, or will be an entirely new situation (we’d pay big bucks, for instance, to see Stick and Matt play pool together, though that seems unlikely), we’re really looking forward to it. It’s a rare instance in which Matt blatantly uses his abilities in his civilian identity while in public. And it’s always fun to watch him kick butt and get the best of everybody around him—
particularly while in civvies.
